IMO Bud Foster has lost it as well. The entire VPI program is stale. The comparisons of Beamer and Fulmer are very appropriate. Fulmer's undoing was his blind loyalty to his staff.

JMU was paid $400,000 to come to VPI to get their brains beat in for Tech losing to Boise or so it was described on the Greg Roberts show in Rke. It will be interesting to here how Hokie Greg spins this tale
easy... this was supposed to be Tech's opener.
ESPN & the ACC "forced" Beamer to move Boise up from mid-Oct., giving them a short-week to prepare.
In the last poll, the Dukes were ranked 11th... which is higher than Tech's 13th, so was this REALLY an upset???

i believe i called this one early, i knew they would fall apart after the BSU loss, they have no motivation, bud foster has gone ape **** and beamer hates coaching and hates trying to get his kids motivated. watch ANY pre game interview he has done in the last 5 years. he has pretty much given up on the program and i cant figure out why nobody has seen it. his kids arent worth ****, he doesnt know if they can hold anyone down, "they have done their best to get the kids ready but so and so is looking pretty dang good and he doesnt know if they can contain them" I mean, it may be because i have played for and worked with some of the greatest motivators EVER, but it just doesnt seem right to me to lose every game before the opening kick off.

Just get behind JMU. That is where real college ball is played anyways. Myself I pull for all VA teams in all sports VT being my favorite of all. I hope JMU wins the Title for atleast 2 different reasons. One they beat VT. Two they are a VA school with a great chance to do so.
